  One or more years of experience with HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript (ES6), especially React.js;
•  

  One or more years of experience with one or more of: Ruby, Python, Node.js, PHP, Java, SQL, Linux;
•  

  Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills in a development role;
•  

  Interest in the interplay of technology and the humanities;
•  

  Ability to work remotely with our team in the US/East time zone, and our clients worldwide;

•  

  Well-developed time management, task estimation and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of independence and initiative.
•  

  One year or more of full-time professional work experience, preferably in either software or higher education, or both.
•  

  Good understanding of one's own areas of strengths and growth as a developer and a teammate, and eagerness to learn and to share knowledge.
•  

  Previous experience with Digital Humanities projects and related technologies, such as TEI, IIIF, JSON-LD.

•
