Itinerary combines geo-data, annotation, and images to help researchers present a text as an interactive course through space and time.

Itinerary combines geo-data, annotation, and images to help researchers present a text—for example, Herman Melville’s London journal—as an interactive course through space and time. With this tool, an editor can upload historical maps, geo-rectify and layer them over a corresponding satellite map, draw route lines and polygons, show a sequence of events over time, and annotate points and lines.
